Okay,

I finally got confo pictures!!! I do want people to tell me what they see. And no matter what I'm going to cringe and bare it. Promise. Just don't be too gut wrenching.

Oh!! And just so you guys know, he was just done getting a bath. So he was wiggling the WHOLE time and making funny faces. So some of his legs are crooked because of that and because it was just me so I didn't have anyone present to hold him still.

Okay here we go:

He is a touch butt high and a toes out a bit in the hind but other than that he's put together pretty nicely. He is a very pretty color!I like his head too!Which is the blind eye, the left?

I don't like his neck/head assembly. No muscling-almost ewe necked. His head is pretty convex (bulges out, unlike the Arab, which is concave). I also don't like where his neck meets his chest. Almost no definition there.

I like his hindquarters, though.

I thought he was a little toed out when I bought him. There are his days were their straight. Others they are crooked. Hes somewhat of a disaster because of his eyes, his legs I guess??

Too many circles he gets dizzy, sometimes he tilts his head SEVERELY to see where he's going, he stops SO SO SO HARD. You have to be prepared or you'll touch noses with him. Yes he can slide stop in good arena sand.

I think whoever owned him before me tried to make him a reiner too young too soon hence the toed outness.

He's EVER so tender on rocks. Riding him on rocks TOO much he'll get an abcess.

So yea...

But either way, I take REAL good care of him and have no problems. Plus I know all his little buttons. He really doesn't ride well with other people on him if they don't know what to look for and what to do.

Also, I'm the ONLY one that can catch him without a bucket of feed.

Oh I forgot to mention. He's WAYYYYYYYYYYYY out of shape. His neck looks A LITTLE better when he's in shape for things.

He's been laid off for quite sometime. So he's lost quite a bit of muscles. Slowly we're bringing them back.

Anything wrong with his legs? Pasterns? etc?

Does he look balanced? Have a nice shoulder??

You mean "pasterns." Pastures are what you put a horse in.

Other than the things I mentioned earlier, he legs look good. He has a nice, sloped shoulder. Something about his hindquarters in the second body shot that I don't like. Maybe the steep croup?

I'm mentally and physically tired at the moment. I rode like 5 horses back to back in the dead HEAT today.

He's captivating. Something about blind horses...I don't know. They are more valiant. :P What breed his he? His shoulder and neck look Thoroughbred-esque, but his head and hindquarters scream Quarter Horse! Anyway, his front legs look decent, although he stands under himself (camped under) with his back legs. Maybe it just seems that way because he isn't squared up "perfectly", but either way I guess. His shoulder is a bit less sloped than I usually like to see, and he is pretty ewe necked. I would almost attribute that to him being blind, though. They don't ever seem to want to put their heads down, so they develop strange neck musculature. I might be wrong, but oh well.
