OH gosh, that saddle is my baby...there was a period of like a month where I just looked at it cuz I didn't want to get it dirty and scuffed up :-X, but I cant take all the credit cuz it was a really easy saddle to break in, lol no secrets just neatsfoot oil once a week and regular cleaning with leather therapy wash and conditioner, I love their conditioner

Very nice mare. I will agree with the assessment that she's a bit short in the neck. It's certainly not the end of the world, but from the looks of how she carries herself under saddle, you are going to need to put some work into getting her to relax over her back and stretch into the bridle. She's a bit braced in the photos.

She's quite nice! Have fun with her?

Yea...its def a work in progress. It seems to me I was over bitting her on our first ride in the pics, things are a BIT better since I switched her to a french link snaffle and added a half pad (also think her back was bothering her cuz of the rain rot everywhere). At least i'm hoping she settles in. Its a really hard break in period not having ever ridden the horse or seen her ridden, I probably wont do that again lol

she's supposedly registered, i haven't yet started the phone call and email pursuit of papers

I'm not holding my breath for them though. She doesn't feel like an arab but I agree, she does look it in those pics. I'm hoping she will build up muscle on her hind end and along her back...you think?
