Crimped Mane???

I have always sort of wondered about this.... in andalusians and fresians, it looks like their mane was crimped??? Or braided for awhile and then taken out???
Is this true???

not necessarily. Some horses have naturally wavy manes - Sam has a very wavy mane and Charlie has a realy wavy tail

I do loose braid Charlie's tail before a show tho just a accentuate it!

A lot of spanish horses have naturally curly hair, my b/f's horse has a wavy mane and tail, which makes his tail a pain to detangle.

Yup,

my mustang's (he's of spanish decent) mane is usually wavy especially after it gets wet. His tail is more dreadlocked than wavy. (j/k)

Except for one horse, all the ponies/horses i've owned have had stick straight mane's,but as everyone has said, depending on the breed,or just simply the horse, they can have curly/wavy,or straight hair,my friends pony has a mane that is just straight fuzz,it is actually aweful, but kinda neat just because its different. So like people it can be all different!!!
