Cremellos

I'm curious as to what everyone's opinions are on some of the cremello warmbloods and Thoroughbreds available.
I'm not seriously planning on breeding my mare, but everyone has that little flight of fancy "What if?" in their head. Were I to get a quality chestnut mare at some point in the future, I'd be interested in getting a palomino foal out of her.
That leads me to the cremellos I have found. First up is Weissgold, at this site: Weissgold GF - Rare Cremello Warmblood stallion. A video of him can be found here: .
Then, there's The Alchemist, shown here: RFF The Alchemist - Rare Cremello Thoroughbred stallion. He's the only Thoroughbred of the group.
Yet another warmblood is Milky Way, right here: Milky Way - Cremello Warmblood colt. There's a video of him moving on the site itself.
Then, there's Mirabeau, at this site: Mirabeau (Cremello Warmblood son of Mascarpone).
I, personally, have a bit of a soft spot in my heart for Erbe, standing at Mascarpone's Erbe GF - Cremello Warmblood stallion and with a video here: .
Whew, that was a lot of links! Anyway, I realize that a great deal of those stallions have Mascarpone blood in them, so of course they're going to be quite similar in some respects, but out of all of them, just for fun, which are your favorites - conformation wise, looks wise, in terms of jumping ability? I've been looking at these stallions nonchalantly for awhile now, and I thought that it might be best to put them up to unbiased peer opinion should I ever decide to use one of them.

Milkyway is fantastic. I would not breed him to a mare with an insubstantial hindquarter as his own could use to be a bit stronger but he has BIG movement and a lovely strong back.
Weissgold I do NOT like, he lacks all the substance and class of milkyway.
The Alchemist is a nice stallion but it would depend on your mare as to whether or not she would cross well with a TB.
Mirabeau I have not seen before but his foals look very strong indeed. HIs weakness appears to be his shoulder so make sure your mare is very strong in this area before considering breeding to him.
From what you can see from the single photo of Erbe he is not something I would consider breeding to.
I too would reccomend checking out guaranteed Gold. He's a nice stallion and has produced some very attractive and successful babies. Again it just depends whether your mare woud cross well with a TB or not.

I am SO not fond of cremellos....sorry to those that have them, I just don't like paled out horses. Sorry! However, looking at them all, none of them would be my cup of tea, but I've seen the website, and like the looks of Gauranteed Gold confo wise and his foals are lovely.

No worries.

If it wasn't for my cremello stud's incredible movement and sweet disposition, I wouldn't have paid a dime for him (he reminds me of a lab rat with that pink skin).

Take care.

Hey, it's only human nature to have colour preferences.

Otherwise, all sofas would be grey and automobiles would only come in taupe.

Seriously though, I'm an self professed "sorrel" junky. Just love it when they're that bright colour of a new copper penny.

Take care.

Guaranteed Gold throws very pretty foals, i love how he is conformed. Personally i wouldn't own a cremello, but if you are breeding a non dilute mare to one then your only going to get a single dilute foal.

Mirabeau is our stallion and he does produce foals with outstanding movement, great temperaments and correct conformation. We have just posted a free video footage clip of him on youtube.
I own several cremellos and love them. There are ugly ones like any other colour and then there are gorgeous ones. Below are a few very recent pictures taken by the well known photographer Barbara Livingston.

If you are still looking for a stallion please feel free to contact me. We are also in the works of doing a deal on a cremello TB stallion...
