Cover cuts, scars etc.

I have a dark bay TB and he has cryout scars on his back legs from when he used to race. Well he has small patches of white hairs and healed scars on his back legs. I gota big 3 day show comming up this weekend. what i can use to cover the hairs and scars? i've tried boot polish and it fades off. What else can i use???? help!

Shapley's makes a spray called show touch up. I use it on Timmy to cover wear his cribbing collar rubs him. It works well, I think.

My first recommendation would be for shapely's. You can also use black grooming chalk to cover it as well. Or you can always just dye the hairs by using a mild human hair dye (like by Clairol)

where can i buy it at?(show touch up stuff) all the tack stores around here don't sell that. it is only in the US?? i'm from Ontario.

I use it to make my mare's legs darker.... she has a few white spots and a scar that is lighter and the darker the legs the less you can see it. SO I use that stuff on her. Doesn't hurt them.
