Coronado Equestrian Club in Panama

I am going to Panama on Monday and will be staying there until the 25th of this month to visit family. While we're there, we are going to visit Coronado and its equestrian club, which is by the beach! Hopefully I will get a chance to ride on the club property and/or the beach. It'd be AMAZING. My mom knows that if we go anywhere on vacation, there should be horses nearby if I want to be kept happy lol!

Anyone ever heard of it or been there? Anyone know about the horses there? I've been trying to look it up on the internet, but haven't had much luck finding a lot of info there.

I'll take pictures to post on here though!

I used to live in Panama, on the caribbean side....they had a stable, for military dependants to board, and take lessons there...it was nice, but no indoor, but that was back in 1970, I'm sure alot has changed....I had a friend that owned a medium pony, that we rode and played around with...

No way?! How neat! My mother is from there.

No indoor? lol That's not problem. I don't think there are ANY indoors here in Arizona...I think there is ONE in Flagstaff though, but I'm not sure. It'd be nice if they had an indoor in Panama since it rains so often there.

What kinds of horses do they have in Panama? I know they have Thoroughbreds that race, and then some kinds of ponies that they use for trail rides, and then these...almost Spanish looking horses there, but otherwise, I don't know. I don't think I ever saw an Arab or a Warmblood or a Quarter Horse the last time I was there. But, we didn't do a whole lot of "horsey stuff" the last time.

I would imagine that they have just about anything...I was surprised to find out how many countries have quarter horses, apps, paint/pinto horses....so you never know what you might find....I can't for the life of me remember what type of horses they had, I do remember an appy...he was a loud colored one...it stuck in my mind, because I thought he was beautiful....
