Copra - feeding it dry?

Hi there everybody.

I have my horses on Copra. Initially I fed it wet but unfortunately my food is made up in advance for the agistment guy to feed. So I stopped wetting it because I was afraid it would go off in between. I usually make 2 days worth at a time.

So I have been feeding it dry in the chaff. (swapped about 6 weeks)

I give 1 cup per bucket of chaff, mixed through.

So, it swells when wet. - but it is very mushy when wet...

My question is would this amount potentially cause problems in the future? I do not intend increasing the amount as it seems to be doing the job. (of keeping on weight) On the packet it says you can feed wet or dry but reading posts on here the people seem to prefer wet. But does anyone feed dry?

Thanks (overanxious horse-mum lol!)
