Question Confused!!

Umm I was wondering what 15.4hh means?!!
I thought it only went up to .3.. unless I'm mistaken? A lot of the time I read about 15.5 or so.. so I'm just wondering if there's another method of measurement out there!!

Also.. is it bad to shampoo your horse too often?

One hand is 4 inches and I don't know what the .4 means. All I know is that 15.4 hands is too short for me.

15.4 is too small for you?? How tall are you?
I'm 5'4 and that's a little big for me.. haha..
If a hand is 4 inches.. where do the .5s come in?

*laughing* 15.4 hh = 16 hands There are just people out there who don't really know what they are saying I suppose...
As for the people who list a horse as 15.5, usually what they are trying to say is 15.2 (they are trying to use the .5 as measurment for a half)

Yes, its bad to shampoo your horse too often... the more often its washed, the more you are stripping the coat of its natural oils.
