Ok, this is going to seem odd, but thought I would ask.

My kids school, in Mead Nebraska, small town school, is in desparate need
of musical instruments for band. They rely on donations to keep them on
hand for the kids that want to play but cannot afford to rent or buy them.
They are limited on instruments and the ones they have are getting pretty old and worn.

So, if anyone out there, has anything sitting in a closet they might be willing to donate, please give me a hollar and I can set it up. The school said they would give a receipt for the tax writeoff to anyone that wants it.

Sorry for the compeltely off topic, but just trying to help out the school
and kids a bit. I know they are very limited and there are quite a few kids
that want to play that cant afford the payments on them.

What kind of instruments are they looking for?

Off the top of my head, I know they need, alto and tenor saxophones, flutes, clarinets, trombone, trumpet. I will have to ask , but I know they only have 1 of each, and they are all getting pretty old. If anyone has anything different, I can ask Mrs. Virgl if they need one. I am not involved in the band right now, but both my kids attend mead school and I just recently found out they need instruments so am trying to help the kids out.

I can get more info if needed.
