Compact Helmets

I have a very large skull. I always have to use an extra large helmet. A large is usually too tight on my scull. Maybe it's a sign of the size of my brain.

Anyways, my International riding helmet makes me look like a conehead or a watermelon head particularly since I use the absolute largest size. What are some good helmets that don't make your head look so HUGE?

Do the velvet English helmets look any more compact?

I have a big noggin' and so all helmets do end up looking like a bobble head.

I have an IRH too and I like it even if my head does look big.

I have been looking into getting this one:

for showing. Not sure if it will be much slimmer though but it does say 'Now with a lower profile'

I think the thinnest helmets available would be the Tipperary sportage helmets- they just aren't very attractive, IMO. Plus, they cover a large area of the head, so they can make it look a little bigger overall, but it's definatley the thinnest on the market (and one of the safest!).

I love love love my IRH Windsor as far as low-profile helmets go- and Charles Owens and GPA make some great models, too, if you have the money for them.

Liberty's Gal- I tried on that helmet the last time I was at Dover, and I loved it! It fits more like an IRH than the usual round CO, so that was great for me. It's basically like the IRH Windsor Show Helmet, only a little thinner.
