| Full Member | colour question.....
What possibilities are their from the mating of: sire homozygous black agouti hetrozygous mare black tobiano hetrozygous carries red factor but agouti negative, obviously I won't get a chestnut foal but can I still get a bay tobiano? or bay? if the sire passes on his agouti gene? |

Sire is EEAa Dam is Eeaa. You are right in that chestnut is not possible. ALL foals will be black-based. Of those, 50% will be black, 50% will be bay, or some form of bay/wild bay/brown depending on exactly what state the Agouti is in. On top of that, 50% Tobi. This translates to 25% black, 25% black Tobi, 25% bay, and 25% bay Tobi.
