![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() | Palomino x Bay Palomino Buckskin Bay Sorrel Black Smokey Black As far as palomino x grey...depends on what the grey's base color is. Do you know what color he was before greying out?

| Senior Member+ | Palamino is ee AA or Aa or aa plu Cr Bay is EE or Ee and Aa or AA You can get a black Ee aa Smokey Black Ee aa Cr Bay Ee Aa buckskin Ee Aa Cr a sorrel ( only if bay is NOT homozygous for black) ee ( Aa or AA or aa) a palamino ee (AA or Aa or aa) Cr Palamino with grey depends on what color the grey was BEFORE it became a grey. Grey is a base coat modifier so there is a different coat color underneat, but at a minimum you have a 50% chance of getting a grey colt and if the horse is homozygous for grey you will have a 100% chance of getting a grey.

![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() | Good point Top Dun! If the bay is EE, cross off palomino and sorrel from the list. If both the palomino and the bay are AA, cross off black and smokey black from the list.

| Senior Member+ | Adding on to what PrettysQtrs said. Palomino x Bay (if Bay is Ee Aa and Palomino does not carry Agouti) 25% Palomino 25% Sorrel/Chestnut 12.5% Bay 12.5% Buckskin 12.5% Black 12.5% Smokey Black Palomino x Bay (if Bay is Ee Aa and Palomino has one Agouti) 25% Palomino 25% Sorrel/Chestnut 18.75% Bay 18.75% Buckskin 6.25% Black 6.25% Smokey Black With the gray, it all depends on what his base color is. The foal will have either a 50% chance of going gray, or 100% chance. If the gray has one non-gray parent, then it is a 50% chance. ~Barbara
