What colors would look good on my new horse?

Hey everyone! Just wondering if you have any suggestions as to what colors would look good on my new horse. He's an 8 yr. old grade Appy gelding. I'll be mostly doing trail riding with him, but might take him to a few local shows just for fun (western pleasure type classes). I'm terrible at trying to pick colors for myself, never mind my horse. Please help me out with what you think would look good on him for a blanket and halter/lead?

Thanks so much!

I guess you call him like a chestnut varnish or red roan??? Not sure what it would be in Appy circles. This is my first Appy. lol

I think a deep blue...it'd really stand out nicely against his color!

Purple purpel always looks good on roans and appies.
For that matter, navy blue would also look good! But I favour purple

Navy Blue... my mare and gelding both wear navy blue halters! Navy blue looks good on just about any horse!
