Colorado Horse MURDERED....!!!!!

I am posting this in hopes that those forum members who are in the state of Colorado will see this. Maybe someone is in the same area as the Merkles and can help spread the word and this person/s can be caught and brought to justice!
Borlina was Pat's very first Arabian mare.
Pat had trained Borlina from the time she was six months old and she did everything she was asked. She was ridden in parades, shown in costume, used in sidesaddle demostrations and used as a trail horse. She was a good and loving mother to her foals and her owners children. She loved children, hers and her owners!
She was 29 years old last February and as you can see in the photo was in excellent condition.
This mare did not die naturally, she was viciously and inhumanely shot right at the pasture's water tank.

She did not deserve this!

OMG!!! What is wrong with people nowadays!!! First poor Dixie and her tail being caught on fire, now this beautiful mare killed by total idiots!!! It so sad!!

My heart goes out to the family, and I hope and pray they find whoever did this!! And I hope they rot in jail!!!

What a sicko.... What possesses a person to do these things? Pure Evil. Remember folks, with someone like this on the loose, not only our animals are endanger, but our children and families too.
