Color Question??

When i seen the thread about what color is/ are yours horses it made me think that maybe you guys could help me out on what color my horse actually is. I have had her for 6 years. She is not registered. I just thought she was cute and i bought her from my uncle when she was 5 months old. I don't really show that much. Mainly just my pleasure horse. she was the first horse i ever broke on my own. Then i had to leave for the military so i never really got into intense training with her. So does anybody have an idea of what color she would be considered?? Thanks in advance!!

Yeah, it would help if the pictures were bigger. My first though is a gray pinto. Distant possibilities would be a roan or even a dun, possibly grulla.

i'll see if i can get some bigger pics. her mother was a blue roan and her father was a paint. not sure what color tho. She kinda has a read roan tint but then when you get her wet she has like blue skin. it is hard to explain. my dad always tells me that there will probably never be another her that has her coloring. i guess i just don't know what color to call her when somebody asks me.

A bigger pic and one taken from each side would help.

look at these:

Hope that helps anyone curious about color.

She may indeed be a roan, but seeing her head up close might rule that out. If she has a non-white head, enough of it, it should be darker than any other color on her body for her to be a true roan. If she's a roan pinto going gray, that will have affected the color of her head by now, so we may not be able to use that to rule in or out being a roan.

The fact that her dam was a blue roan lends great possibility to her also being a roan. Her skin will look "blue" because it's actually black, at least where the hair isn't white
