color question

I would like to know what color you would recomend for an arabian appolosa cross(sp). She is white with rust spots. I would also like to know where I can buy halters, saddle pads, and bridals in these colors for arabian size horses. She is approx. 15.2 thanks.

Check out Jeffers Vet Supply online, or Smith Bros, or State Line Tack. Do you want colorful or calm, didn't see how old you are.

If you want spiffy, they have some wonderful sherbert colors, limes/peaches/teals/lemons in saddle pads, and halters/leads to match. They also have some wonderful black backgrounded pads with various colors on them.

She would probably look good in the orange/rust color choices, or the teal/jade colors. Purple is pretty sharp too. You can always pick up a couple of samples of fabric for less that two dollars, just tell them you want a couple of inches or so, or buy some ribbon and lay across her back and see what looks best.

Let me know what you pick.

They also have some lovely royal blue.

If you are going for staid, then I would stay with black/tan/rust toness.

angelfire, I'd love to see a photo of her - she sounds very much like a mare I went to look at before falling for the funny little pony I now have instead!! This is my 'nearly horse', lol...

The only reason I didn't buy her was that I was a little concerned at future problems related to her very long pasterns, but boy was she BEAUTIFUL (imo).
