Talking Color Predictions wanted for APPY

Here's the Stallion ; ApHC Bay Few Spot leopard, Vigilante Justice.

The Mare ApHC Pal. Little Myte Poco (aka - Miss Nikki)

Here's what this stallion and mare have produced so far.
1st baby (No Pics) - Bay Filly with snow flakes over hips and all characteristics.

2nd baby - true buckskin filly with blanket

3rd Baby - Palomino Few spot Colt 9

4th Baby (no pics) started as a Dun but shedded off to a dark color almost a liver chestnut color. has a blanket over hips. Nikki is due to foal mid May 2006. Ok Have fun Guess away for base color and patterns. I have a few ideas but with appys, it's anyones guess.

Smokey black huh? then it is possible, that the 2005 colt that shedded to a very dark color, he looks like dark burnt sugar if that makes sense. Is that smokey black??

Could be. A smokey black usually looks like a regular black--thought might be a shade or so lighter. Testing would be the best way to tell for for sure. That and/or if the horse ever has any offspring and produces a dilute foal out of a non dilute mare--you know where that cream gene came from. But yes from a bay / palomino cross smokey black is a possibility. *A smokey black is a black with a cream gene*

You have soooo many different outcomes! It's not even worth it to guess, but you have a small chance of each of what prettywtrs mentioned

I want to see more pics of the palomino few spot colt! He's adorable!

Are we guessing for fun? Not for what she could possibly have right? I'm going to guess a Palomino filly with a blanket!

Shannon I can only dig up photos from last year, the little palomino is somewhere in Oregon. He is going to be used as a stallion. But when I last saw him at 1 yo gosh was he ever gorgeous.

But......I just recieved some updated photos of the palomino colt

These are pics of him at approximately 2 months old. Last tme I seen him he was sporting his winter duds, he looked like a cremello with mottled skin and scleras....LOL

For the Horse Color genetic folks What is this colts color??? this was her last years baby

The smaller picture is when he was like 2 days old, he was a buckskin color
(I borrowed the photo from my friends website )
