Color Please

This is not my baby, but a friends and we were both curious as to the color she'd be or is or whatever

Mommy is a Gold Champagne, and the father is bay.

I think mommas a gold champagne, not palomino, and this baby is likewise gold champagne.

Do you have pictures of mom? Or perhaps a pedigree?

If mom really is palomino, this foal is palomino as well. I'd be interested in seeing pics of the dam too though!

They are all grade horses, pedigrees unknown.

Yes, and her owner says Hazel. This is NOT my horse, neither mare or foal but a woman I've photographed horses for before. Just so everyone knows I'm just relaying info lol.

The mare looks a lot (in color) like this Champagne to me:

They both have the light color and the gray muzzle with just a little mottling.

This horse as a foal even looks like the above mare's foal color-wise:

Wow, I didn't think gold champagne skin would get that dark around the face - I would have pegged the mare and the horse Snaffle Bit posted as palominos. In fact, the horse above is a near carbon copy of my TWH as far as color (and parts of his conformation too). Perhaps I should get her tested for champagne.
