Her dams a bay, and her sires a Palomino Tobiano Paint.

She looks chestnut to me...

Oh, I forgot to say she's a beautiful little girl! Is she yours?

She looks like a gorgeous little sorrel to me.

The stripe is most likely just foal counter-shading. A lot of foals are born with that.

looks like countershading. Sire could be a dunalino though and no body knows it and the foal might be a dun but from the looks of it I think you have yourself a might pretty chestnut.

Her legs our so light though, will they get darker or will she get lighter?

Yes, she's mine she's out of a Impressive HYPP N/N Mare, and her sire is out of Sugar Bars, (Peppy San Badgers Sire) Pep Up, and Hes Super Tough.

VERY nice bloodlines! I say Chestnut. My foal too has lighter legs and the stripe, and he is as chestnut as they come! Both his dam and sire (sire is out of Peppy San Badger ) are chessies so there is no doubt.

It is normal for red based foals to have light legs, and even sometimes light bodies (especially belly and other low areas). She looks chestnut to me, but knowing her breeding there is a chance she could turn out palomino. I have seen darker foals be palomino so it is possible.

How old is she in the pics and will you have outside photos?

She was just born yesterday morning and those are from last night. I'll have outside pictures once we turn them out for the first time.
