 | Color Help So we have a new filly. I'm wondering what color you think she is, I'm pretty sure she has a dorsel stripe, if not it looks A LOT like on. Sire: Palomino and White Paint and his sire was a Black and White Paint Dam: Sorrel Appendix Quarter Horse Our other palominos out of him were born super light, almost looked white. Even out of other Sorrel mares. So I'm kind of confused about this girl.    |

 | Looks Palomino to me as well. Definately doesn't appear dun, and that stripe is most likely countershading. Very pretty baby! |

 | I agree it looks palomino to me. There are only two colors it could be palomino or sorrel. I go with palomino. No dun in the pedigree so no dun factor to pass on. |

| She's adorable!!! Definately Palomino, with countershading... I still think your colt is a buckskin, Mare. That pic you posted... awfully dark hair around his foot for a Paly.  |
