Color experts help!!

OK, if this colt is a Choc. Pali where I think its gonna be black on his legs will actually be a bark brown right. Or can a choc. have black? That filly above looks to be a choc. color to me on the legs and tail. The underside of my colts tail is black. I wish I could hold it up and get a picture but I have to have both hands free he is one of those thats nice then will turn around to kick you. He is for sure a little pistol. I think I'm leaning towards Bucky myself. I thought thats what he was until the vet came out and said Choc. Pali.

Palominos can and do have sootiness in their mane and tail sometimes, that is the black you are seeing. If he is bucky, anyone care to say why they think he doesn't have the dark coloring on all 4 feet? This just appears classic of sooty to me. IMO the dark on the legs will likely not be much higher than it is now, but it could go up to the knees. No it will likely never be truly black, just a chocolatey shade.
