At this point I put smokey black at the very bottom (as in, doesn't look like it at all), with palomino and buckskin being tied for first. The darkness to her RF pastern is awfully suspicious, and would make me think buckskin. But her mane/tail is awfully body-colored, and that makes me think pali . What color was her skin right at birth? The red-based foals tend to look pink. |

![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() | Can you post pics of the parents?? I have seen pics of buckskins that were born with a mane the body color and were thought they were palominos till the foal shed. Could possibly be a case like that. The foal shed will definitely tell all, though.. |
