with all the unwanted horses out there why would you want to breed another low quality horse. go out and find a baby or yearling to raise up. Any breed any color, just think twice or three or four times about breeding that mare.

buy a dun the cost of buying a well bred yearling or weanling with the colour you want, is not going to cost you more than the expense of breeding your own mare.

I believe that is a gelding... look carefully! Anyway she did say that is not her horse, but a mannequin to show how mis-conformed her mare is.

The fact that your horse has a "weak back" makes her in many of our opinions, not worth breeding because she does not follow in the "bettering of the breed" labeling

to YOU she may not be low quality

But if you had to sell out today, how will she not stay out of the slaughter houses?

How will her foals stay out if they have the same issue?

too many "Great horses" are selling LOW prices. Which means, Good and Ok horses are selling for nothing.

Is she the high withered ,downhill mare?

To me, those aren't good qualities to be passed on.

Even though she might have a great mind and the best disposition, but for me, it isn't worth it to bring another "average" quailty foal in the world.
