College Tour & Yeager Visit

I should be packing right now, but I'm making a thread instead.

So, tomorrow (or rather today being that it's one in the morning) my boyfriend Jeff, his mom Ilene, my mom, & myself plan on getting on a plane to begin our journey. This is our schedule:

Wednesday PM: Plane ride up to Seattle, WA.
Thursday AM: Visit University of Washington in Seattle.
Thursday PM: Visit & take LOTS of pictures of Yeager (the stallion bred to Queen & Penny

).
Friday AM: Fly to San Fransisco, CA.
Friday PM: Explore San Fransisco.
Saturday AM: Visit Stanford University in Stanford, CA (20 miles South of SF).
Saturday PM: Hop on a train to San Luis Obispo, CA.
Sunday AM: Visit Cal Poly San Luis Obispo.
Sunday PM: Train home to make a wedding in the evening.

I'm very excited but not quite sure what will happen on the plane with all this terrorist business. Anyone live in those areas? Any comments on the schools? I'm bringing my laptop computer with me so I will be able to update daily.

I love SLO. I'll be there in 2 years when I finally have enough units to transfer

I think it's cute that both Jeff's and your moms are going!

Ugh, Jeff's mom is going to be SO annoying. She does not want Jeff going out of state because it's further & she won't see him as much even though it is one of the three best engineering schools on the west coast! She keeps saying stuff like "but it rains there all the time" & "but there are no Sierras."

Please don't me wrong - she is very nice & is usually alot of fun to be around. I guess I just feel like she is holding him back. (I swear that kid is a genius.)

Tell her NO there are NO Sierra's there are the CASCADES which are bigger and more glamorous and that we have a zillion more skiing opportunities all with in a two hours drive of UW... LOLOL... and it has rained hardly at all the past three summers... but yes it rains all fall, winter and alot of the Spring

THAT is why it is GREEN here, lol...

yaaayyy, have fun!!!! hmmm... Stanford... how I would love to go to college on the west coast

Add that to my possible colleges? haha Tell us all about the colleges and Yeager (!) as you go
