An abnormal bout of colic like a twisted colon or an entrapped intestine due to a strangulating lipoma, the stone, tumors and extreme sand impaction this product cannot help and you need the assistance of vets. But normal impactions this stuff is extremely good at stopping. It is always your option to what you do for colic, but I have seen this product work to many times to even start to dis-credit it. A long shelf life, so I do not have to worry if and when I do have to deal with colic because I am ready. God bless you and your horses for the stress and suffering you will put yourselves through for no reason but dis belief. On another form someone else described Equine Colic Relief (USA) as LIQUID GOLD. I thought that was a good description and my personal belief is every horse owner should at least try it before they debunk it, your loss.

The point is the average horse owner may not know what the cause of the colic is, use YOUR product, trusting it will work, and will only end up with a dead horse because precious time is wasted waiting for the "miracle" to work. And it inevitably doesn't. Get it now?

I saw the ingredients listed as kelp and some other sea weed. Let's see the scientific test reports showing where the seaweed, in a short time, will break down non-living organic matter.

Our vets out here in rural america are not too much horse vets. Since friend has had this product, it has saved two of my horses on three different colics. No I would not be without it.

So, You know a rep and must know the answer to my question or can GET the answer to it. I'll wait patiently while you do that.

Well, You have been back since yesterday when you said you knew a rep and I asked you to get the studies on how this stuff worked. Ya aint done that so I'm assuming, because I HAVE to assume when I have NO response, that there ARE no studies.

Thank You very much for verifying that with your lack of response.

how horrifically dangerous.... just yesterday you posted on another post saying the horse would be saved from having this product...the reason it died.. is the owners were too confident in their own capabilities... this product will do nothing but breed more situations like this... that poor horse suffered for days because they knew it all and had their heads in the sand

How is an owner, or vet, or anyone, supposed to know what sort of colic is at hand, without the vet being there and putting hands on and in the horse? Is an owner supposed to give this majikal stuff and wait X hours to hope it resolves, THEN call the vet?

But normal impactions this stuff is extremely good at stopping.
What is a "normal" impaction, and how, scientifically, does this stop (prevent?) that or break it up?

It is always your option to what you do for colic, but I have seen this product work to many times to even start to dis-credit it.
However, you have absolutely no idea what those colicks were, and for all you know, doing *nothing* would have resolve the same way. People saw the sun rise in the East and set in the West and SWORE it was because the sun revolved around the earth.

A long shelf life, so I do not have to worry if and when I do have to deal with colic because I am ready.
And when the next horse has a real problem, and your hours of waiting because you have faith in this product causes his death, will you still believe in it?

God bless you and your horses for the stress and suffering you will put yourselves through for no reason but dis belief.
Wow, really? Because I choose proven methods, because I choose the expertise of my vet, I need to be blessed for CAUSING stress and suffering?

No, what needs to be done is for you, since you are such a firm believer, to provide the science behind this. There are thousands of products that are touted as "liquid gold" but are nothing more than hokey marketing.

Please, seriously, explain how this stuff works. How does it break up impactions. How does it relieve gas bubbles. I'm all ears.

The only "Liquid Gold" I know of is furniture polish.

We've already been there. There is only theory and subjective info. There is nothing of the science we are asking about.

It is a TERRIBLE thing for that site to highly recommend you wait 90-200 minute before calling your vet. That 90 minutes may be the time that saves your horse

It is basically calling the science of what Banamine does as a Very Bad Thing, when the fact is, Banamine is used for the very reaction it causes, in order to see if that's all the horse needs, and in many cases, it IS what the horse needs

There is just so, so much wrong with that site
