cody has been with the Bare Foot trimmer for 6 trims now so i thought i would get some pics and see if anyone can see any changes. he was trimmed yesterday. i also got some body shots. she said that the back of his hoof is getting ready to blow out. ill see if i can find the thread with the
before pics in it. I think i may have gotten some of the pics missed up. and i wasn't able to get a good front shot b/c of the light. let me know if there looking better or worse.

What period of time has passed?

Any idea what 'official' qualifications (if any) the trimmer has? (Just curious as to what 'method' they're following.)

I would love to see before pictures and know the time frame before commenting.

I wonder if she's certified through AANHCP? That's who she's linked to on her site, but I don't see any reference to that fact.

i believe that she is her card says AANHCP, PT she is also a paramedic so that might be what the PT is

PT is the acronym for "practitioner in training" for the AANHCP.

The PT should indicate that she is in training to be certified. She is not listed as a PT on their website though. In fact, she's not listed as being affiliated with them at all. (Though I have no idea about how diligent they are in keeping up with their listings.)

I'm having a hard time getting a good view of the 'before' pictures. But I'm seeing some things that really concern me that seemed to be better then than now.

Do you have any photos before she ever trimmed his feet?

I'm about afraid to comment. But I'll go ahead and throw it out there.

I see a very pinched and underrun heel. They are also uneven.

I'm not sure exactly what I'm seeing at the toe. It almost looks as if there's white line seperation (possibly infection?) that we can now see from the topside. But I just can't tell from these photos exactly what it is.

The feet appear extremely shallow. But I don't know how that is relative to what they were.

The frogs look unhealthy, and there could be some infection in there.

It looks like she's trying to scoop the quarters to alleviate the jamming that's occuring along the band where the quarters should be. But the heels are actually in that location and that's what's causing the jamming. (Or just might just be scooping the quarters because 'that's what's done'. Who knows what the actual thought process is, that's just the most likely explination to me.)

I do not like what I see here. But I'm having a hard time saying whether it's better or worse than before. My first inclination is to say worse.

What does she mean by the back of his hoof blowing out? Any ideas?
