Check out the old threads on Black as Knight. I personally won't use suppliments other then vitamin E and selenium unless I am preparing them. There's no FDA for horses. Instead of spending money on buckets of paprika and ?, try adding BOSS, corn oil, rice bran oil, or ground flax seed to the diet. You can also use a sunscreen fly spray.

Your horse looks GREAT, by the way. It's always amazed me how light a bay will clip out. I see you've put a bit of weight on the horse, too. You're a good owner.

I just thought I would update this thread with the results of the black as knight. I stopped giving it to my horse for about 3 weeks and he definitely lightened up! I was pretty shocked at what a difference that stuff makes.

Definitely amazing how light he looked when he was clipped! He's definitely put weight on! Poor old man was way skinny and out of shape when I first got him.

That is a nice difference. We need to use that on my Dad's OTTB. He's looking faded.
