So who's been out 'blazin' trails'? Hubby and I spent several days at a friends place 'reclaiming' old trails that hadn't been used for several years. Down trees to cut, brush to clear. Beautiful trails through a pine grove and along the Mississippi River.

I wish you were to Katie. We have the trail trial, but will will be having a Judged Trail Class in out arena that day too. Lot's of young people your age will be there. Maybe next summer, huh?

I wish I lived closer I would go

We've been laying out new trails at a park in Iowa. Very senic along the bluffs of the Mississippi River. Beautiful views. Our saddle club will be having a trail trial, for fun on June 20th and a trail ride June 21st. If anyone is interested, it's open to the public.

true... but riding around home would be fun tho

Ive never been at night or in the rain. I don't think night would be a great idea, especially my trails always include walking down or crossing roads with very high speedlimits! Riding in the rain may be fun though!

we haven't gone yet becausse Dakota is just starting to get his bit in his mouth after the long winter so he's getting better
