Finding what works for you can definately be an experiment!

It's crazy how different hair/scalps react differently to everything. I've found that ACV makes my hair oilier faster.

I would have previously classified myself as having more than moderately oily hair. I literally never went more than 24 hours without shampooing if anyone was going to see me. (Rarely would I even do that if I was going to be at the house by myself.) It was so bad that I would actually have to wash my hair in the AM because if I washed it PM, it was oily again by the time I woke up the next morning. I'm really quite amazed! I think the season change is helping as well. I just sweat so much in the summer that I have to clean it a bit more often. But the ACV is what really made the dramatic change.

I get such weird reactions when people find out that I don't wash my hair. I can tell they think I'm a bit odd. But I always get compliments on my hair (before they know what I do).

Oh! It's also been ~6 months since my hair's been trimmed, and I really have no split ends. I look every few weeks to see if I can find any, but no!

That's great, Dawn! I wish my scalp would adjust that quickly. It hasn't actually made a huge change since I started COing and WOing. I guess I just have a naturally oily scalp. Probably still being a teen doesn't help, either.

I like to get my hair wet before putting the conditioner on. Then I don't really do anything to it till I'm done with my shower. At that point I go to work on my scalp/roots just like I'm 'lathering' a shampoo. Then I rinse (you do have to rinse well, but not nearly as much as I would have assumed at first). I do use a lot of conditioner when I do it. Though sometimes I only do it on my scalp and roots and not the length. That takes considerably less.

Oh yeah, I slept in today too. So it's now officially been 12 hours short of a full week since I've done anything to my hair. Yeah...definately doing something before I go to work tomorrow though.

luvs2ride79: I have no idea what page COing is on (probably all of them at least a little ), but I'll try to tell you what some of us do.

Suave and VO5 conditioners are a couple of the favorites for COing. They're cheap, and they don't contain silicones. I think maybe PonyGirl93 uses something else, but I can't remember what.

This is what I do when I CO. I put a bunch of conditioner on my scalp and massage my scalp with the pads of my fingers for about 4-5 minutes. Then I get in the shower and wash, shave, etc, and then I rinse it out. You do have to rinse it well to get it all out.

COing doesn't work for everybody, but a lot of wavies/curlies like it because it enhances their waves/curls. I like it, because it doesn't strip my hair, but it leaves soft and not at all greasy. It also took care of my dandruff (which wasn't bad, but it was enough to be annoying).

Okay, so what page is the CO on? I'm intrigued now, lol.

Uh...I slept in today and still didn't do anything to it. Now it really needs something though it's not horrible nasty.

This is officially the longest I've ever gone without 'washing' my hair. I did a CO and ACV rinse on Wednesday morning. It's now Sunday night. I plan to do something to it in the morning, though I could easily go another day. Awesome!

Okay, so I am in LOVE with this product line. My hair stylist carries it and it's ridiculously expensive, but it WORKS! My hair is long, wavy, and frizzy. I normally have to put a ton of product in it to get it to look like my daughter's lol. With Moroccan Oil Conditioner and and leave-in oil, my hair stays shiney and smooth. In humid weather, it will curl up on me, but at least it's NOT frizzy! lol I use just the conditioner and the oil. I tried the shampoo and it was a little "too much" moisture. My scalp would get a bit greasy if I didn't wash my hair everyday, and I prefer to wash every other day (to reduce blow-dryer damage). I HIGHLY recommend it! http://www.sleekhair.com/moroccan-oil.html
