    OK. SO. went jumping yesturday..
We had about 3 controlled jumps out of 30. Hahaha.
I put a pole up just before the jump so sh had 2 concerntrate on what she was doing which worked at first.. Then she would pretty much bolt at them every time. I'm not sure she's ever been taught how to jump properly LOL AHHHHH.
I might try putting a couple of poles after the jump but im abit worried for safety because it's already dangerous jumping her as it is.
    - funny note: she'll jump even if a pole isnt there. I was jumping and after i took the poles away I wanted to see what she'd do if the jumps were there and just not the poles. Yep, she jumped nothing. HALARIOUS.

i havnt tried lunging her over jumps, i'll try that but she does SUCK at lunging haha.
I've done lots of ground work with pole & jumps ive set up but the problem seems to be when she gets abit of speed, even jsut in a trot.. I think she's abit over- confident lol. & it doesn't matter the size of the jump small or tall she goes at it like there's no tomorrow haha. I've found doing 20m circles after the jump slows her down at the end but im more worries about just before the jump. Doesn't matter what i do at the last second she has a huge spurt of evergy. I've been told she was train to just go as fast as she could at them..

scoobie123, i would set up the jumps or whatever your doing, and just circle her around the jumps, on both sides, and i would walk her up to the jump, stop, back, the go over the jump or pole on the ground, stop and jus wait a sec, maybe this will get her to slow down, have you tried lunging her over jumps?
