HGS Frequent Rider Club 2009

Horse Club Created by Jess!

A contest to get people out there and RIDING. Two separate categories Pros [people who work with horses as a living] and non [trail riders, pleasure riders, etc] to make it fair for everyone.

Hours are reported once a month, I suggest using a spredsheet like chart to track your hours.

Goal is to get the most hours by the end of the year. Since this is for 2009, we're starting late but next year with 2010 we can start on time.

Awards? Maybe? We should discuss this.

Note: Horse shows and any competitions such as Endurance Ride, CTR's [competitive trail rides], trail trials DO NOT count towards your hours.

LOL Your winters are probably better for riding than ours I have to have a bunch of gear to do it safely! LOL! Most people here don't ride in winter at all unless they have access to indoors. I have been talking to another endurance rider who keeps her horses in shape year round though and have been getting ideas for a good winter plan....good thing my dad is a farrier though. Snow ball pads and corks! LOL!

Hmm there should be a way to change it? I'm not sure, I've never been a club admin or anything.

Maybe at the end of December we should advertise the club again in horse chat LOL

    Jess!
I love riding in the winter!

Well, this ends at the end of December, then the new 2010 club will start. Is there a way to rename this group when the time comes? LOL I'd hate to start a new club.

Hopefully we'll have more members starting in Jan, and can really get this going!

    Congrats on the hours everyone!!
