Well I'm breeding Romi this coming spring to EquineRepro's Edelweiss. I was going to wait a couple years to breed her, but Kathy shot that plan down when she posted up Edelweiss. I'm so excited to see another Romi baby. I've been trying to come up with names.

What area do you live in? I might know someone who you can shadow.

That's fine. You probably didn't even come as far north and east as we are, anyway.
Yeah, the weather is fine here. Is it bad in Indiana? I don't even know!
It's sunny and warm here.

Hey girlfriend... I was barely in the state for a couple of hours... I got up early on Monday and haul horses to the vet twice... then came home paid bills while my husband fed. I owed money in Indiana that I was going to leave there. We stopped on Hwy 50 on our way through and picked up papers on a mare... the guy literally met us at the truck window with them... He was standing on the street corner in front of his office... LOL We got to the barn about midnight... hooked up the trailer and loaded two stallions and drove back to MO and had to be back at the vets a couple of hours after we got home Tuesday.
I did not have time... trust me I really do want to come visit you. :-( Are you okay with all the weather there. Do you have power?

Mary, you came all the way to Indiana, and didn't come over to say hi to me??? I am so offended.

I am actually breeding more mares than originally planned this year and have three breeding age stallions at my place now. I guess it was a blessing in disguise when we had to go to Indiana to get two stallions that were there as this meant that I have them here in MO now where we have running water and electric. My trainer in Indiana has to haul in water and has no electric due to all the flooding up there. They are expecting more rain today so prayers for those up there are greatly appreciated.

I am not breeding a thing this year
My older mare is getting the year off so I can breed her earlier in the year for a 2010 foal. Cher is going to be a walk/trot horse for the year and Dottie is going back to her owner
Geeske will be going back into training as soon is Amelia is weaned and I am hoping to put some serious show miles on her in the next year or two (unless she sells).
I am keeping an eye out for another broodmare...but the right thing has not come along. I am still looking for the perfect TB mare but haven't found her yet.
Next year is going to be a bit empty without any new babies but I am so pleased with what arrived this year I will be busy showing them as yearlings so it should keep me busy!

Haha I'm thinking about breeding Romi to Riverman from Iron Spring Farms in PA.
