Exclamation Chocolate

Can horse have chocolate...it may sound like a stupid question but i don't know ? I know like dogs can die from it but what about horses? Thanks so much!

Probably not a good idea. I dont think its actually poisonous to horses but it will do their teeth a lot of damage. Horse's teeth are difficult to clean you see ....

I am not sure if the thebromine that affects dogs affects horses in the same way. It messes with metabolism, which is what kills dogs.

But, the added sugar is not good horses. I wouldn't feed it.
