Ill admit, Im turning into a full bore Horse Show Aunt. Soon Ill be bringing pompoms and carrying around kleenex.

I love it though.


We had a show yesterday, and while it dont go exactly as planned and I am exhausted theres no complaints.

Chloe and Cate both rode Stella, but Catie was considered an exhibition and not elligible for placings.

(My cousin had to work and didnt get the last couple hours of the show, so I have limited photo's. *tear* )

This was Cate's first real show, and she had a BALL. The kid couldnt stop grinning all day. She even wore jeans for the first time in two years(shes four). Thats a huge deal.

Cate, Stella, and myself. She wanted to trot, however shes not 100% yet so I had to hold her and lead Stella. Thankfully Stells an old hand at this and got the job done.

Chloe's confidence has grown in leaps and bounds since she started taking her saddleseat lessons. It was definitely one of our better decisions concerning her!

Chloe was spying on me. Doll was convinced I had treats, while I was switching some reins around.




Half of our 4/Line team was either working or injured so we asked a couple younger girls to join us. They were very excited, and being as it was just for fun we swtiched the order up... Dolls usually first, but my other normal team member took the front position. Its good for them to have to think.

They went at more of an angle than I like, so I held out and got to where I wanted... hence why we're not on their behind.


Doll frustrated, worried, etc. She takes everything personally.
