Chimeras, two sets of DNA and one horse

Did anyone else see the article in Eqqus (November 06) about the brindle QH's, that have two sets of DNA, it was astounding. I never had heard of this, outside of fairy tale creatures, but everyone should look at it.

Foal was out of two different brindle parents, and DNA testing came back saying foal didn't belong to either parent, and after retesting, they found two completely different sets of DNA in the sire/dam. Also had story about a human chimera too.

I just thought was something interesting to pass along.

The Quarter Horse Journal did a great article on Dunbar's Gold in February of 2006. I think that if someone has an AQHA membership they can look up past articles. Maybe someone could find the pdf of that story.
I have the Nov Equus- but no scanner!
Basically the same information/story though.

I would love to read that article if you come across it. Definately post it if you find it! I had heard of human cases of that but never horses. Makes you wonder if other species have it as well.
