    Cheese cloth under heater vents?

I've recently heard on one of the "do it yourself" channels that putting cheese cloth under your heater vents will help cut down on dust. Anyone tried this?

As cold as it is here, I'm concerned about loosing some of the heat coming through.

I'd be afraid of the air not circulating well enough. I think if you change your furnace filter regularly, that should be sufficient.
