Changing lead cue...

When in a pleasure class, what is the mounted cue to change leads after a reverse in direction?

In a pleasure class you would not be asked to change directions at a lope. Not quite sure what exactly you are asking?? If you want a right lead, you que with your left leg and if you want a left lead then que with your right. When I ask my horse to lope off I will just slightly lift my hand, sit deep and then use my leg que.

A little back ground on my mare...

When I got her she was already trained wp. She has now lost her eyesight but is still able to show. It doesnt strees her out and she still performs very well. She shows with a full set of blinder cups on.

When we are going counter-clockwise, she does great. After we reverse though, its a 50/50 shot of her picking up the correct lead.
I have tried every other cue suggested to me to get her to pick up the correct lead. I was just looking to see what other cues that different people use, that I can try to get her to do it.

Also when she is lunging, she responds to vocal cues. 1 cluck or saying walk=walk, 2 clucks/trot=trot, kissing/lope=lope... I have yet to find her whoa command. Even before she lost her eyesight, I couldnt get her to stop without easing her down to it. I have tried "stop" in every language/sound I know... Any Ideas?

IMPO, if she had decent training prior to you buying her, she SHOULD know "whoa" very well i would think.

If you ask her to stop, and she doesn't.... take ahold of her face nicely and shut her down hard, then back her up. IMPO it is not acceptable in any way for a trained/broke horse to ignore "whoa"

how you explained above, about "counter-clockwise she is good" ,and when we reverse she can't take that lead.
So, just guessing by how you explained things, I'm going to ask the following questions which may help us give you some advice.

do you know your leads well? how do you are asking her to lope off?
are you properly setting her body up to take the lead you ask for? (She needs to take whatever lead YOU ask her for, in whatever direction she is traveling)
