If you're referring to Washington Bay's kittens, go back to the first page. Getting the mommas spayed was a little bit of an adventure!

WB- it's so neat to be able to watch the kittens grow up all over again! I'm enjoying this!

Heh... good morning!

I'm told this morning that you can set your number of posts per page higher and the second batch of pics might not actually be on the second page for everyone.

Hopefully they're not too many for folk to load. I still haven't found all the buttons at this place!

Wicket is becoming a teenager. She never wants to go to bed when we say so, and she's always looking for mischief.

It's about time to get her in to be spayed. I haven't taken her in yet, for her shots or anything... it hasn't been needed as long as she was in... but now that she might be starting to get to go out, she needs vetted!

I love cats and kittens, almost as much as horses. And I know all about the pregnant mama comes up and blesses you with 4 kittens and they all have to be taken and fixed. But my stray mama cat was tame and wanted to come in the house. We kept all of the cats, in addition to 3 more. It's like a cat santuary around here No mice though!!

She definitely was giving me the stink eye! They didn't like me that day, hissing and popping at me.

Yeah - we were up to our ears in cats for while, it was pretty much my whole day managing kittens and cleaning litter boxes and feeding kittens and moving dogs in or out to keep everyone safe.

Now I wonder how they are, the ones I gave to a forum friend... she's not here (yet). I don't have her update pictures either saved that she posted on the other thread of them in their new home. ~sniff~

I hope we get her over here, soon! Losing horse.com was almost like losing part of the family!

So far as loading the kitty pics, the only ones that might have trouble are the people with dialup. I've got an old computer that's slower than molasses compared to newer ones, and it does okay on the high speed.

Then again, I'm only running minimum number of posts per page!

As for the last pic, you almost have to admit that evil eye or not, it's really cute how you got all three to look at you at the same time!

Thumbs up

Washington Bay,
You're my hero! Awesome job with the Momma Cats and the kittens.
My neighbor and I went through something similar with a cat someone dumped out here. She was pregnant and only semi-wild. (had been someone's pet obviously) By the time we found out she'd had kittens they were probably at least a month old or so. I took one kitten and tamed him.
My neighbor found homes for 2 others and the no-kill shelter adopted out the following two. They gave my neighbor a voucher to spay the Mom for a very low fee and she is now her barn kitty and comes to visit at my barn every night. She's very sweet and quite tame now.

Here's pics of my little kitty. He was the most curious of the litter and didn't spit and hiss like the others.
He adored my Golden.
Your dog is a sweetheart and a good surrogate Mom.

All grown up!

Kudos to you. For giving them all a chance at a good life.
Loved all the pictures and reading their story.

WB I'm so happy you started this here, thank you. Those kittens are so cute. I checked every day to see if there was anything new especially new kitten pictures. Hope Sedona is having fun with hers and the others in the other home are doing fine.

Awww... 3WD - yours is precious with your dog!

They sure were fun... It's the first time I've ever actually given birth to something on the place, so I got to be a momma too.

Hi sarge... glad you found it! I was just going to look you up and let you know.

We need Sedona with updates though!

Until then... here's just a few more pictures. I thought they were cute in the bucket.
