CANTER-Ohio looking for volunteers

Hi all

Just thought I'd let those in Ohio know that CANTER-Ohio is always looking for volunteers. Beulah Park outside of Columbus, Ohio will reopen for racing the first of October and we will once again be walking the shed rows taking listings and keeping an eye out for horses that are at risk. Here are some ways you can help:

*Help take listings and photos of horses available for sale. Must be available Saturday mornings. Will need a camera--either digital or camera + scanner.

*We need foster homes in the Columbus area for horses that we take off the track at Beulah. Foster homes provide feed, hay and bedding (all tax deductible).

*We would LOVE to have someone who can help mastermind, plan, and execute fundraising efforts.

*Ditto for someone to work on communications/publicity.
