Canada Day Trail Ride [Photos!]

Here's some pics of my trail ride on Canada Day - it was so nice out, sunny and hot with a little breeze. It was Pixie's second ride out this way, across the big scary stream and winding through the woods (most of the pics are when we got to the old logging road, as the first half is a little tight, just a deer trail through the woods)

Nope, it's up in Joe Riche! There are apparently hundreds of miles up in this one area and I think we've done about 3%. Going for a day ride tomorrow (lunch and everything), so hopefully we'll make it to the lake in that area (don't know the name - Ida or something, not Idabel) and I can see if Pix will swim for me. I have the rest of the month to do all the trails in the area, then she's going to be boarded in West Kelowna (Glenrosa, if you know the area, also has miles of trails).

Oh yeah. I know the area. My horses are on Boucherie. On the westside. I didn't even think of Joe Riche, miles of trails there. Glenrosa has quite a few really nice barns. But beware, I have also had bad experiences with a couple up there.

I'm going with a 'private' boarder (friend boards with her neighbour and he has room for one more). There was one barn I went to look at but I got an iffy feeling from the BO, as nice as the place was. What were your experiences up there? ATVs?

No, just really bad BO's. Not really taking into consideration of the horse's needs.
