1. what is your experience with breeding?
2. what is your experience with raising a foal?
3. is there a reason you don't want to purchase a foal already born?
4. is your mare of breeding quality?
5. do you have the money to breed to a quality stallion and provide proper pre-foal care and after care?
6. what would you do with the foal?

She can, but I wouldn't suggest it if she has never foaled before, it will be a big first baby. But of course it is always good to have a vet check her out to make sure she doesn't have structural problems

BTW welcome to the forum.

it would be better to do it the other way around- draft mare and QH sire-but theres too many anyway- why not get a pmu -its cheaper and you get pick of sex-color-size -temperment and markings-and conformation. Breeding yu dont know what you get until its there-draft have large bones and she would have a harder time carrying and foaling .

Yes they can, but the others that have posted are right consider what you are doing. Size, maidan mare, temperments, etc.
I have a draft cross stud right now. His dad was a suffolk draft and his mom was a Qh.
