I'm sure there's a browband of a similar color at my barn that I could borrow from someone... if not, I can buy a browband seperate that fits, I got this bridle for a really good price so I don't think it's a biggie to buy a browband.

Maybe I could turn the browband into one of those one-ear bridle things!

there ya go that is a good hing to use it for if he likes it

I almost had to laugh, because it seems like anything I try to buy doesn't want to fit correctly. It's almost like they see my name on an order and instantly make the product "goofy". Just last night I picked up a new wool pad, and the thing is supposed to measure 30" wide - well "mine" is only 28". I thought it looked short and then measured.

Just my luck, I guess. And apparently you share in that luck! Enjoy -
lol, that's just what I was thinking; browband too small and throat latch too big! lol At least with the throat latch you can cut off the extra and poke more holes, and just slide it around so it sits better.

You had the browband made... bigger?

How do they do that?

Lol that was my thought also... I'm really hoping I can borrow a browband from one of the other bridles at my barn. Blehhhh. I seem to have bad luck with these things.

Do you have pictures? That might be an option... how much did it cost you?

Sooo, here's what I'm thinking. It's a rare colored bridle and I don't know if I'll be able to borrow something the same color from someone, and even if I can, it would be a hassle if they needed to use it still and we would be switching headstalls all the time... and then who gets it for horse shows? haha. So I was thinking I might get one of those two-eared bridles that will match my bridle, and take one of the ear pieces off and put it on my bridle, then re-sell the bridle I bought as a one-eared bridle Do you think that would work?
