Ah, so now we're locking me up in HGS jail, eh? I'm guilty, I admit it!

I have pictures now though I think it looks darling on my pony... unfortunately, I don't think it fits Ugh... I might just need a new browband though, it seems like the rest of it fits okay but the browband is too small. Bleh. Take a look for yourselves:

^^ Close up on the area being effected by the browband being too small... and below is a photo of her in our dressage/english bridle (that fits) for comparison:

Tell me what you think! It's a bit lighter than I was expecting it to be, but I love light oil tack, so it's okay

I think you're right, the browband is small. You may need to get a different size. Or you can do like I did, and piece something together. I had the opposite problem, the cheek pieces were too long, so I bought a pony bridle, and put my old browband and throatlatch on it, and Voila, perfect fit, lol. It might be hard to match the color of that though.

Yeah, see how the cheekpiece is being pulled forward and isn't hanging straight down...browband too small.

Wow, they put a long enough throat latch on though, didn't they?

I almost had to laugh, because it seems like anything I try to buy doesn't want to fit correctly. It's almost like they see my name on an order and instantly make the product "goofy". Just last night I picked up a new wool pad, and the thing is supposed to measure 30" wide - well "mine" is only 28". I thought it looked short and then measured.

Just my luck, I guess. And apparently you share in that luck! Enjoy -

i love it but that one part is to small it is pulling on the rest of the bridle that is what it looks like to me and everyone else they do make bigger ones go to a take shop or they will make it longer for you i had to have it done with my draft horse and it will match and won't even look like it was sized if they do it right

Yeah, you guys confirmed my suspicions...

I'm sure there's a browband of a similar color at my barn that I could borrow from someone... if not, I can buy a browband seperate that fits, I got this bridle for a really good price so I don't think it's a biggie to buy a browband.

Maybe I could turn the browband into one of those one-ear bridle things!
