calling all husky owners/breeders or anyone who knows the breed

right well im not even going to pretend to know alot about them lol
all i know is
a, they put hair all over anything that stays still long enough
b, cant speak for the breed as a whole but mine goes after rabbits perticualy pet bunnies *cringe* have had a few unfortunate mishaps with neighbours over this
c, hes an excellent escape artist and once out is very hard to catch
d, howls like a wolf instead of barks

anyways my real question was i know hes registered i cnt remeber who with as his papers were lost in a house fire a year ago and his pedigree never really intrested me before, he has a tatoo in his ear and im wondering what this is for is it part of his registration or something? and if so could i find out who he was registered with? dont worry im not after breeding him or anythign hes fixed just curious who hes reg with and his lines etc
if any one has any idear how to find out post and ill post his reg name and tattoo number
thanks
sammie

I love huskies, but they're hard to keep up with. We had one, named Chena, and she was a handful. She's "howl" at you if she wanted to talk, and yip as well.

She killed bunnies. And birds. And Squirrels. ANd she killed our nieghbors goats so she went to the pound. They LOVE to run/roam.

Mine is everything of the above

Mine is very easy to catch. he knows mamma ***** will be very angry and he'll be in BIG trouble if he doesn't come.

d, howls like a wolf instead of barks
Mine prefers to howl, but HAS barked! But howling is the preferred method of speak.

Tatooed in the ear? Numbers? I just saw you are in the UK....

Does your registration people make you tatoo? If so, or if you aren't sure, it won't hurt to call your registration place.

Last time he didn't come to me after I called him, when he got back, stared him down, flipped him on his back, and held him down by his neck and stared till he diverted.

Same thing a head wolf would do. He hasn't done it since either. LMAO

When he kills my chickens, he HIDES from me. BOY OH BOY!

I'll come home and he'll disappear in the house if he did something bad. He's felt really bad when he had an accident in the house. OMG he thought I was going to eat him. He didn't get in trouble since he was sick, just the OH LANCE DANG IT!. Just to remind him it is NOT acceptable.

Well, I only have a hair issue during shedding season.

The wind here does a good job blowing the excess off. A good brush once a week helps too.
