I am really not sure how I feel about this...How can a "Horse Day Spa" be considered a rescue facility?

Rescue is only part of what they do. You can't pay the bills in So Cal doing rescue alone... She has some nice Morgans on consignment priced at $5,000-30,000. If she could hurry up and sell one or two of those, she wouldn't need the help at the moment.

She states in the message above that sje is NOT a non-profit.

Whatever will pay the bills...be it breeding, training, or re-sale. Somehow money has to come in.

That is a very sad story. They were gorgeous before...I would hate to see how they look afterwards.

I think they should enlist with "Goodsearch.com" It is like a google, however will donate a penny to your listed nonprofit organization for every search you use! I have already raised approx 25$ for my favorite horse rescue site....just by searching the internet as I usually would!

Im not so sure about this rescue either. There have been a couple times where I wanted to buy a horse from them but I have trouble getting a hold of them.
Another thing that has bothered me is that I was looking for a horse on dreamhorse.com I found one I i liked but ended up not getting it cause the owner had just sold her. Well anyway days later I go to painted spirits website and they have this horse up for sale for WAY more than it was selling for when it was with the previous owner!
It confuses me are they a rescue/breeder/horsetrader/spa or what?
For one I wouldn't think that a rescue would promote breeding because of the fact that it causes more horses and they're already struggling to place the ones they have

Something doesn't sound right. I'm getting a really bad feeling from this. If you're a rescue you're not breeding and what not as well. And the whole thing with Cherokee doesn't make me feel all that good about the situation either.
