This horse have beautiful coloring.

He have nice front legs, but his hock are too short, he also looks weak there too.
He look like have have slightly cow hocks. He have a long back.
His hips are a little to pointy. He have high shoulders. He have a thin neck

You need to ride or lunge you horse on hills, mostly trotting and cantering. He don't need more weigh, I don't see the ribs. He need more muscles.
He got a nice tail. I am not sure that you are not going to fill the muscles on his hips
So, he needs to finish growing and need more muscles.
I love his coloring.

He's so pretty Paint Luver! I have no clue about confo, the only thing i can tell you is is butt and withers look even (unlike my mare) so thats a plus, actually his butt is a bit shorter then his withers, which means he prolly hasn't shot up yet. So it's hard to tell if he'll remain level. His neck and back are a little long compared to his rump. Thats about all i know. i think you 2 woud do better in english, just because his headset his high and he's pretty tall. It depends though, he might have a western way of going. Good luck!

Yeah, he's kind of a stragly (little?, lol or big) thing. I think he just need some time to fill out a bit more. I have been going on trail rides with him on the trails that are like a rollar coaster they're so hilly! But my instructor suggested NOT letting him trot or canter on the hills (even uphill) because he wouldn't build as much muscle that way.

And for him not needing more weight, I think he does a bit. I don't know why you can't see his ribs in those pictures, but you certainly can while looking at him in person. I agree, he needs time to fill out and some work.

BTW, what are cow hocks? Are they bad/ a health concern?

Thanks!

Thanks for the lovely compliments! Yeah, I noticed the slight uneveness too. But he hasn't been growing taller that much lately, perhaps he's overdo for a little growth spurt? I agree with the english thing I think. I don't think western, at least not western pleasure, because the lady who I got him from, raises horses for Western Pleasure, and she was selling him, because we wasn't going to be a good western pleasure horse. Oh well, I don't mind. I just wanted a horse to ride around anyway.

LOL, but that was actually fairly clean for him. Usually he's move dirtier too! White horses stink to keep clean. But when he is super clean, he looks super pretty! I think I'll try some of the shampoos and what not KT reccommended.

cow hocked..is if you look at there back legs...from behind...they point inward...but people dont realize that it IS a good thing for a horse to be slightly cow hocked...its when they are severly cow hocked that it is bad... you dont want perfectly strait facing back legs... your horse looks to be ok from the pictures...

my only concern is that he is built so up hill at such a young age that he is off balance and wont be able to get his power from behind (not easily anyway) so that is another thing you will have to work on...that is...getting him to move out from behind...and get his head DOWN..so it is even with his withers....its gonna be hard...but if you want to show ... ya gotta do it...and its GOOD training for him!!!

KT, for every hill we go up, there's one we go down too. Any tips on how about training him to get his head down? Do you mean just while riding? LOL, sorry, that's probably a really stupid question. He's getting quite nice at collection and lowering his head a bit when I'm riding him though.
