brought my pony in today...

It totally STINKS that we don't own two paddocks.. *sigh* Because every spring, when we plant grass in Rain's paddock, we always have to keep her in her shed for like, a month till the grass is tall enough to turn her out...... I DO lead her out, and exercise her, and let her graze on the lawn, but that uses up MY time... What we need is another paddock, or at least a round pen.... *sigh* but slim chances of either of those!! Oh well... anyway, today I had to bring her into her shed.. she just LOVED that. (sacastic grin)....

Just pray that the grass grows SUPER fast!!

Mine have to be locked in the dry dock until the grass gets long enough. This year we over seeded the pasture, so its going to be even LONGER before they get out there.

My horses understand your horse's dislike of the containment.

She's still alive....... =) But really, really disliking it...... but what she doesn't know, that in a while, she's going to be let out into a green green pasture, with grass up to her knees!!!!
The grass we planted is just coming up.......... now it just needs to grow, grow grow...........

You should have shoved her in the trunk of L's car and brought her here with you! There's lots of grass around here. Plus she'd have three buddies.

Ha. I know she's small, but not THAT small - and she'd have had to share the trunk with 4 people's luggage.....

Not happening!

Actually, the grass is up in her paddock now, and it's REALLY warm outside, and we're supposed to get rain tonight, so it's perfect grass growing conditions......... Pretty soon she'll be grazing again!

well, guess what? The grass is up now... and growing - much too slowly for my taste!! But it's THERE, anyway.
Here's some pictures; of the pasture, and also 2 of Rain peeking out of her stall door, gazing longingly at the grass that will SOON be hers!! Oh, and there's also a picture of me giving her some grass inside.... LOL....
I don't want to brag, but don't I have an adorable pony?!!? LOL......
here's the pictures; I don't know why the 2nd picture doesn't load all the way, but whatever.
