brother and sister

I have to mini's. Twins. Boy and a girl. They are inseperatable.I didn't think they were old enough to breed yet to seperate them but it appears they are. My kids saw them trying a few times and now my husband did. I went out and seperated them. I have always heard that if a brother and sister breed it can be bad. not sure in what way. Just remember hearing bad. Is this true?If yes, why? What could happen or would happen? Thank you

Inbreeding, especialy in breeds more prone to disorders, you can have unformed limbs, alot of diffrent types of deformities

Like BoP said, there are a lot of problems that could arise from that breeding. Why not geld the stud and then you can put them back together with no worries of that happening again.

I know first hand that minis can breed at a young age. We had a Weanling and three year old mare we dident want to geld him till later which was to late they endded up breeding, sadly the foal was a still birth, but they were not related.
So geld him asap!!
The minis are great though I love them!
