Britain's Tallest Horse!

This is Cracker. The cowponies of the West are maybe 15 hands (4 inches per hand * 15 = 60 inches, measured at the "wither" -- the point between the shoulder and the neck. 5 feet. )
Cracker, 16-year-old Shire Horse is the tallest horse in Britain--he's 19 hands, 2 inches, or 78 inches -- 6 feet, 6 inches at the shoulder. The tip of his ear on that picture, left, is maybe 8 feet from the ground.

I don't hink I would have named him cracker, I think I would name him TRACTOR or freight train LOL. That lady isn't even wearing a helment!!!! Stupid stupid stupid stupid idea, if she fell she's definatly getting a concussion!!!
