I have to say I have never seen a horse of that colour before either, but I like it!

Riding Lessons, by Sara Gruen, great book, really neat horses. There are a couple of really neat websites that are dedicated to brindle horses and other odd patterns.
I would love to find a horse like that!

there is a Brindle AQHA stallion that looks lovely, but I can't remember the name of him. he is also listed as a red dun (but with the brindle colouring) I think the colouring is nice .. I think if I had a brindle with a star then it would have to be registered as "Stars & stripes" LOL!!

Funny, I read that book too! The whole time I was reading it, I just could NOT picture a striped Hannoverian!! The color is stunning in those pics tho - I'd love to see a real live one.

I couldn't picture it either, I finally looked it up on line. When I saw the pic, it reminded me of my pitbull, she is that same color!

Haha, i read that book too! I liked it. I think I saw a for sale horse that was that color so I kinda knew what the horse looked liked. But I think they are the coolest looking horses ever! I totally want one. They're definitely an eye catcher. Then I'd add a brindled colored dog to boot! LOL.
